Archery – Energy and Concentration in harmony with nature

 Archery has a long tradition here in Ennstal.  It is a good family sport, as children from about 5 years of age, as well as adults and the young at heart, can take part.   This is a sport which combines concentration and good co-ordination, on all levels, thus bringing mind, body and soul in balance and allowing you to leave every day things behind you for a while..

You can find many possibilities to try your hand at archery in our area, and these using life-like 3D animal targets.  The Planneralm in Donnersbach has probably one of the best parks of our area.  In the midst of amazing scenery many national and international tournaments have taken place here e.g. the European Competition in 2004.  A range which offers safe and wide spread shooting areas tailored to beginners as well as professionals, with qualified Instructor Heinz Lackner. The 3D ranges are probably one of the best of its kind in Europe.

Just as interesting and worth a visit is the Archery range at the Rittisberg in Ramsau am Dachstein.  In the activity park in Ramsau, at Ramsau Beach, it is possible, not just to swim in the bathing lake, but also use the high swing, rope climbing tower, cosy traditional restaurant, beach volleyball and archery course.
