Skiing

The heart of our skiing area is the Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Arena which links the well known skiing mountains of Hauser-Kaibling, Planai-Hochwurzen and the Reiteralm.  A tip for skiers are also the smaller mountains of Fageralm, Galsterbergalm, Stoderzinken, Riesneralm and Planneralm.

All mountains of the area can be reached by car from our house in just 15-20 minutes.  Or, you can use the local ski bus service, which is included in your lift pass, and leaves from our door step, taking you directly to the Hauser-Kaibling

Cross Country Skiing

Sport and activity in the fresh air awaken all your senses and fulfil the wish for health, fitness and beauty.  The constantly prepared “Märchenloipe” in Mitterberg offers everything a cross country skier could wish for.  In total, in our Schladming-Dachstein Region, there are 484 km of well prepared cross country route just waiting for you to come and enjoy them

Tobogganing

Whether by day or by night, this is a true experience, and not just for the children.  A special highlight is the moon light tobogganing at Michaelerberghaus.  Also on the Galsterberg you will find a 5km long toboggan run, which can be used day or night.

The possibilities here in Ennstal are nearly unlimited

• Take a breath of fresh mountain air and enjoy romantic winter walks in a snowy winter wonderland.  Use the time to stop at one of the many traditional huts and try some of our regions specialities.
• Ice stick shooting for our guests
• Many lakes invite people of all ages to come ice skating or play ice hockey on, e.g. Putterersee in Aigen/Ennstal.

• The fascinating world of ice in Pruggern is worth a look, especially amazing and wonderful at night.
